Product Manager – Category Strategy

About the role

We are looking for a Product Manager to lead the GLP category strategy across the IMEA region, aligning with LIXIL and regional business goals. You will drive growth through market analysis, product lifecycle management, and close collaboration with sales, marketing, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a 3‑year and 5‑year product roadmap for the GLP category.
• Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including new introductions, discontinuations and innovations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key distributors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Partner with sales and marketing to design promotional campaigns and tailored sales plans.
• Monitor category performance against revenue and profitability targets.
• Conduct regular market analysis, pricing strategy and competitive benchmarking.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels and coordinate with supply‑chain for seamless distribution.
• Plan planograms with retail and showroom teams for different partner categories.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally for new product launches and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Promote sustainability initiatives within the product category.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in a product‑based industry, preferably building materials.
• 5+ years of experience in product management.
• Fluent English with strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.
• Strong commercial knowledge and business acumen.
