Production Manager & Product Development Lead

About the role

The Production Manager/Production Developer will lead the end‑to‑end product development and manufacturing process for luxury apparel. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure designs are technically feasible, cost‑effective and meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product development from concept through final approved sample, reviewing designs for feasibility, fit and finishing.
• Coordinate creation of first samples, fit samples, PPS and size sets, identifying and solving production or quality issues early.
• Approve fabrics, trims, accessories and construction methods, ensuring alignment with luxury garment standards.
• Plan, schedule and monitor production from order confirmation to delivery, allocating work to appropriate factories and workshops.
• Track daily and weekly output, flagging potential delays and escalating risks with proposed solutions.
• Support new supplier onboarding and enhance manufacturing capabilities as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in apparel production, product development or related fields.
• Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern making and quality control.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work closely with design and sourcing teams.
