Professional Barista

About the role

DISTANCE Café in Abu Dhabi is looking for a professional, qualified and experienced barista. The role covers preparing high-quality specialty coffee and hot and cold beverages, serving customers professionally, keeping the workplace clean and ensuring good customer satisfaction. The salary is AED 3,000 per month.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare specialty coffee, hot and cold beverages
• Serve customers professionally and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness in the workplace
• Handle customer orders and use POS systems

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of professional barista experience
• Valid UAE visa and eligibility to work; no employment ban or legal work restrictions
• All nationalities welcome
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
• Accommodation and meals are not provided

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of specialty coffee and espresso-based drinks, including V60, Spanish Latte and Matcha
• Ability to operate and maintain espresso machines and coffee grinders
• Knowledge of coffee beans, grinding, extraction and brewing techniques
• Latte art skills preferred
• Good customer service, teamwork, time management and ability to work under pressure
