Professor - Management

About the role

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is recruiting a full-time professor in management within its College of Business and Economics (CBE). Candidates at all levels will be considered at a rank commensurate with their academic achievements. The position is open to applicants who can teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Key responsibilities

• Teach management courses at undergraduate and graduate level, using pedagogical methods that emphasise practical applications.
• Develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research programme in your area of expertise, publishing results in reputable refereed journals.
• Promote the growth of the Business Administration programmes and the College of Business and Economics.
• Advise students and provide service to the university, college, department and community.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Management or a related field, preferably from an AACSB-accredited school.
• Research experience in human resource management, organisational behaviour or related fields.
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate management courses.
• Active researcher with a strong record of scholarly excellence, and a thorough knowledge of management theory and practice.
• Preferred: research and industry experience in business management and related fields.
