Project Architect – Luxury High-End Development

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Architect to lead the translation of luxury high‑end development concepts into constructible, execution‑ready solutions for a major construction contracting firm in Abu Dhabi. The role bridges design intent and on‑site delivery, supporting estimation, procurement and project delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs into coordinated construction documentation ready for execution.
• Review and coordinate multidisciplinary design drawings to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
• Collaborate with Concept Architects to preserve design intent while providing practical construction solutions.
• Supply detailed drawings, specifications and technical inputs to the Estimation team for accurate quantity take‑offs.
• Analyse site conditions, identify discrepancies and propose technical solutions.
• Prepare detailed construction drawings, shop drawings and execution details in line with engineering standards.
• Conduct technical reviews of contractor bids, specifications, shop drawings and material submissions.
• Recommend materials and value‑engineering alternatives while maintaining design quality.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, estimation and site teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and resolve design‑related issues on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably on retail, commercial, shopping mall, hospitality or large‑scale projects.
• Proven experience in Design Development, Construction Documentation and coordinated shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of constructability, architectural detailing and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Experience on EPC projects with cost‑conscious delivery.
