Project Manager – Building Construction (Civil)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑value building construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves full‑cycle project ownership, from planning and design through to handover, ensuring compliance with contractual, budgetary, quality and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee building construction projects from initiation to successful handover.
• Supervise multidisciplinary site teams, including Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Estimators.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors and local authorities such as the Municipality, Civil Defense and ADDC.
• Develop execution plans, master schedules, budgets and resource allocation strategies.
• Manage project costing, variation orders, progress billings, claims and overall commercial aspects.
• Identify project risks, implement mitigation plans and ensure strict adherence to quality and HSE standards.
• Review and approve technical submittals, progress updates and monthly executive reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (UAE Ministry of Education equivalency preferred).
• Minimum 20 years of solid experience in the UAE construction industry, specifically building construction.
• Proven track record with at least one major Abu Dhabi developer (e.g., ALDAR, Musanada, ADNOC, Provis).
• Immediate availability (join within 1‑2 weeks) is highly preferred.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claims management.
• Strong understanding of project controls and Abu Dhabi building codes/regulations.
• Leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
