Project Manager – Construction & Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

The Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing construction and fit‑out projects from planning through execution to completion. The role ensures delivery on time, within budget, and in line with quality, safety and regulatory standards while meeting client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction and fit‑out projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client requirements, timelines and approved budgets.
• Review project plans, schedules and deliverables to guarantee efficient execution and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate turnkey project requirements with internal departments and external stakeholders.
• Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control programs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors and vendors, providing guidance on project management and construction matters.
• Lead and manage the project execution team, allocate resources across multiple projects and monitor team performance.
• Develop risk management and mitigation strategies, ensuring health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Provide value engineering recommendations to optimise cost, time and efficiency.
• Conduct property condition assessments and coordinate corrective actions with property management teams.
• Track project milestones, budgets and schedules, preparing reports for senior management and identifying risks.
