Project Manager – Construction & Infrastructure (UAE National)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead major government infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from planning and design through execution, handover and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget and quality standards.
• Develop and monitor detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with internal government stakeholders, consultants, contractors and other external parties.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes, providing timely mitigation and escalation.
• Oversee contractors and consultants to ensure adherence to designs, specifications, HSE standards and contractual obligations.
• Monitor financial performance, support budget management and prepare regular status reports for senior management.
• Facilitate project meetings, ensure clear communication and follow‑up on actions and deliverables.
• Support procurement, tendering, contract administration and project handover activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management or related discipline.
• 6–8+ years of experience managing large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably within a UAE government or related organisation.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, construction methodologies, contracts, cost, schedule, quality and risk management.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across complex infrastructure projects.
• Project management certification such as PMP is preferred.
