Project Manager – EPC Projects

About the role

This senior Project Manager role is responsible for delivering large‑scale EPC projects in the oil and gas sector, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end EPC execution from planning through commissioning and close‑out.
• Ensure delivery against approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, contractual and HSE requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across piping, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, automation, procurement and site functions.
• Monitor performance using schedules, budgets, KPIs, progress reports and forecasts.
• Proactively handle risks, delays, change orders, claims, disputes and scope variations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, regulators, vendors, OEMs, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Support pre‑construction activities, estimating, proposal development and business growth initiatives.
• Mentor junior project managers and engineers, fostering teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
• 12–15 years of experience in oil & gas brownfield or greenfield facilities.
• Proven experience with EPC contractors on large‑scale industrial or energy projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC delivery methods, project controls and execution methodologies.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
