Project Manager – Hydrocarbon & Brownfield Projects

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple sustaining‑capital, brownfield modification and medium‑scale hydrocarbon projects. You will act as the primary customer‑facing representative, guiding opportunities from early identification through capture, award, delivery and close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Lead concurrent projects covering plant modification, debottlenecking, tie‑ins and asset‑integrity scopes, managing all phases from proposal to commissioning and handover.
• Maintain an integrated view of pipeline and awarded projects, balancing priorities, resources, risks and milestones.
• Own front‑end customer relationships, shaping scopes, positioning Worley’s value proposition and supporting pricing and approvals.
• Coordinate EPCs, contractors, vendors and internal teams, establishing clear interfaces, responsibilities and escalation paths.
• Prepare execution plans, control scope, schedule, cost and quality, and ensure accurate forecasts and timely invoicing.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing brownfield and sustaining‑capital projects in the hydrocarbon sector.
• Strong ability to engage customers, develop proposals and drive projects to safe, technically robust and commercially sound outcomes.
• Excellent governance skills, with the capacity to rebalance resources and protect critical‑path activities.

Required skills

• Experience with front‑end capture, proposal development and commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of FEED, detailed engineering, procurement support and construction commissioning processes.
• Ability to integrate multi‑discipline engineering inputs and manage risk and change across multiple projects.
