Project Manager

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves close collaboration with the client, senior leaders and multiple stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of complex initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the client to deliver key projects and meet their requirements.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Develop and maintain the Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan.
• Establish program requirements, monitor deliverables, and ensure adherence to criteria.
• Prepare and distribute project summary descriptions for team reference.
• Plan, direct, supervise, and control all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project.
• Assign responsibilities to subordinates based on qualifications and strengths.
• Mobilize company resources and create effective project teams.
• Collaborate with managers, engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans.
• Monitor project performance, address cost overruns or delays, and manage scope changes.
• Maintain current and timely change orders and promote technical and commercial excellence through Quality Assurance processes.
• Report progress, milestones, and any conditions affecting cost or schedule to management.
• Conduct weekly project status meetings and formulate action items.

Required profile

• Proven ability to work closely with clients and senior leadership.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in developing and overseeing project execution, health & safety, and quality plans.
• Capability to assign tasks, evaluate team strengths, and provide performance feedback.
• Track record of managing budgets, schedules, and mitigating project risks.
• Ability to prepare clear project documentation and status reports.
