Project Manager – Large‑Scale Oil & Gas EPC Projects

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead mega‑EPC projects on an offshore site in Abu Dhabi. The role involves full‑lifecycle responsibility for large‑scale oil & gas projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership, strategic direction and execution for multi‑billion‑dollar oil & gas projects.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and hand‑over activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, budget and contractual requirements.
• Act as the primary interface with clients, stakeholders, contractors and executive management.
• Manage project controls, cost tracking and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Minimum 20+ years of oil & gas experience, including 10+ years on offshore projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mandatory).
• 8–10 years in senior project management or project manager roles.
• Proven track record delivering EPC/EPCM projects valued at USD 500 M +.
• Experience with sour‑gas treatment, pipeline, utilities and gas‑processing plant development.
• Extensive experience managing multinational project teams and contractors.
• Preferred certifications: PMP, PMI‑SP, PgMP, Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer, NEBOSH.
