Project Manager - Offshore

About the role

Worley is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead offshore projects, ensuring safe, on‑time and cost‑effective delivery for the Owner. The role involves overseeing the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team, coordinating with EPC/FEED contractors, and guaranteeing compliance with HSSEQ, quality and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Champion the project safety culture and ensure HSSEQ targets are met.
• Lead the PMC group, appoint qualified personnel and ensure competence.
• Develop and implement project processes, procedures and systems.
• Coordinate with EPC/FEED contractors, attend kick‑off and regular progress meetings, and record decisions.
• Manage project scope, schedule and budget, approving changes only with Owner consent.
• Assist the Owner in obtaining statutory approvals and ensure quality procedures are applied.
• Provide independent consultancy, technical advice, risk mitigation and recovery plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large offshore or complex engineering projects.
• Strong leadership with ability to appoint and develop competent project teams.
• Excellent understanding of HSSEQ standards, international quality standards and contract management.
• Ability to act on behalf of the Owner and liaise with EPC/FEED contractors.
• Effective communication and documentation skills for meeting minutes and project notes.
