Project Manager – Operational Projects (E‑commerce)

About the role

Talabat, part of the Delivery Hero Group, is looking for a Project Manager to own operational projects for its Local Shops vertical in the United Arab Emirates. You will work cross‑functionally to scope, plan and deliver initiatives that improve key operational KPIs and enhance the end‑to‑end order experience.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational health across the local shop vertical to ensure a seamless order experience.
• Establish and maintain accurate data and reporting mechanisms to measure impact.
• Collaborate with logistics, product, and CX teams to optimise the value proposition.
• Own end‑to‑end project delivery, including cadence, cost, impact, cross‑functional support and change management.
• Prioritise problems, generate proposals and lead experiments to validate opportunities.
• Support product roll‑outs by ensuring processes and procedures are in place.
• Work with market heads to scope and size quarterly business problems and opportunities.
• Build relationships with regional and central teams to shape roadmaps for vendor fulfilment, inventory management, product and logistics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in e‑commerce, food tech or a related technology business.
• Proven ability to work with multiple cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with comfort navigating diverse data sources.
• Experience designing processes, procedures and frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex problems with data‑driven insights.
• Ability to plan and run workshops to identify problems, brainstorm solutions and prioritise roadmaps.
