Project Manager – Senior Civil & Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Senior Civil and Infrastructure Engineer will act as the technical authority for complex, high‑value projects within Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation. This role combines design leadership, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of civil works and infrastructure systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and perform design reviews at concept, preliminary, detailed and IFC stages.
• Validate civil and infrastructure designs, drawings and technical specifications for roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities and public realm.
• Provide on‑site technical oversight during construction to ensure adherence to approved designs, specifications and schedules.
• Monitor contractor performance and coordinate with consultants and suppliers to meet technical and quality requirements.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to constructability, sequencing and site conditions.
• Verify compliance with national and international codes, standards and contractual obligations.
• Implement robust QA/QC procedures, conduct site inspections, audits and technical reviews.
• Review non‑conformance reports, propose corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Serve as senior technical reference, mentor junior engineers and support multidisciplinary collaboration.

Required profile

• Extensive professional experience in civil and infrastructure engineering on large‑scale projects.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to lead design and construction activities.
• Proven capability to coordinate with contractors, consultants and regulatory authorities.
• Experience in risk identification, mitigation and management.
