Project Manager – Technical Projects

About the role

The Technical Projects Department is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large‑scale, multi‑disciplinary engineering projects, from concept through to commissioning and hand‑over. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in line with shareholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input during proposal and concept development, coordinating design, material specifications, procurement and tendering.
• Manage Project Management Consultants and supervise site activities, delivering regular progress reports to senior management.
• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams through all project phases, including initiation, design, execution, commissioning and start‑up.
• Oversee multinational contractors, ensuring compliance with HSE standards, company procedures and project objectives.
• Participate in company committees, offering expertise and guiding discussions related to project delivery.
• Develop work programmes, terms of reference, project standards and procedures, and control pre‑qualification of bidders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing major engineering or plant construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards and HSE requirements.
• Ability to lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and multinational contractors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
