Project Site Engineer - Decorative Glass

About the role

The Project Site Engineer assists the project manager and site team with project supervision and technical details, manages team coordination and oversees the project lifecycle from start to finish. The role covers decorative glass projects and requires strong project management, supervision, organizational, time management, leadership and decision-making skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with on-site management and supervision to ensure project success and keep the project plan on track to meet deadlines
• Study engineering drawings, specifications and calculations
• Coordinate with clients, architects and engineers to meet project requirements
• Oversee installation and commissioning of decorative glass installations
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project plans
• Supervise and coordinate glass processing and installation teams, and provide training and guidance to the installation team
• Monitor work progress and quality against specifications
• Process billings and project-related accounting issues
• Prepare project documentation, passes and reports
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Valid UAE driving licence
• 6+ years of UAE site and contracting experience
• Experience in the interior decorative glass/metal industry is a must
• Ability to assign and delegate tasks to site and production teams

Required skills

• Strong experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
