Purchase Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented International Purchasing Coordinator to manage our global procurement activities, including intercompany purchases and third‑party supplier relationships. The role involves creating freight purchase orders, processing RFQs, negotiating terms, and ensuring smooth logistics for import and export shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Create and issue freight purchase orders for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Process requests for quotes (RFQs) and purchase requests, compare supplier offers, and make recommendations.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, generate purchase orders, and follow up on acknowledgements and deliveries.
• Coordinate shipping instructions, liaise with logistics for urgent shipments or delays, and maintain shipping documentation.
• Update the ERP system with shipping details, inform requestors, and attach relevant documents.
• Assist accounting with invoice discrepancies, vendor payment issues, and bank‑detail updates.
• Monitor advance payments, prepare regular reports on open purchase orders, shipments, and payments.
• Provide pricing and stock availability updates to production and sales, and maintain vendor/customer records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 3 years of UAE purchasing or procurement experience.
• Fluent English; Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
• Strong organizational and proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
