Purchasing Coordinator

About the role

As a Purchasing Coordinator you will sit at the centre of the procure‑to‑pay cycle, supporting day‑to‑day purchasing operations and ensuring data accuracy across the ERP system. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on exposure to supplier coordination, product data management and cross‑functional collaboration within a fast‑growing e‑commerce beauty and lifestyle retailer.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders, verifying specifications, pricing, quantities and approvals.
• Create SKUs for newly approved products and link them correctly in the ERP system.
• Track purchase orders from creation to delivery, handling confirmations, amendments and cancellations.
• Follow up with suppliers on acknowledgements, delivery timelines and required documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, accurate purchasing and product data, including pricing, barcodes and descriptions.
• Generate basic purchasing reports such as PO status, pending deliveries and supplier follow‑ups.
• Support product launches by ensuring purchasing status and product data are ready on time.
• Assist with invoice matching, payment follow‑ups and credit note processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or a similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple purchase orders simultaneously.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
