Purchasing Executive – Drywall, Ceiling & Partition Materials

About the role

EJABI Group in Dubai is looking for a Purchasing Executive to lead sourcing, procurement and supplier management for drywall, ceiling and partition materials. You will ensure timely delivery, cost‑effectiveness and compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for drywall, ceiling and partition products.
• Identify, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality and lead times.
• Manage the full purchase order cycle – from RFQs and contracts to order placement and delivery tracking.
• Forecast material demand with sales, projects and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers, freight forwarders and logistics partners for sea, air and GCC customs clearance.
• Monitor market trends, raw‑material prices and currency fluctuations to advise management on cost impacts.
• Prepare procurement budgets, cost‑analysis reports and supplier performance evaluations using KPIs such as on‑time delivery, quality and pricing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil/Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in drywall, ceiling or related construction materials.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation and vendor management with regional and international suppliers.
• Familiarity with GCC import/export processes, customs procedures and logistics.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP or procurement software.
• Advanced MS Excel for cost analysis and reporting.
