About the role
The QA Inspector ensures that all facilities management services, maintenance activities, materials and workmanship meet contractual, regulatory and client quality standards. The role supports continuous improvement by identifying non‑conformities and verifying corrective actions.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct routine and planned quality inspections of hard services, soft services, specialized services, civil, ICT and subcontractor activities.
- Inspect completed maintenance works, preventive maintenance, projects and service deliveries for compliance with specifications and client expectations.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and quality objectives across all facilities management functions.
- Identify, document and report non‑conformities, defects and service deficiencies, escalating them as required.
- Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) arising from audits, inspections and client complaints.
- Conduct site quality audits in line with the company Quality Management System and applicable standards.
- Review maintenance records, inspection checklists, permits, testing certificates and calibration records for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor the quality of materials, equipment and consumables used in maintenance activities.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing quality records and corrective‑action documentation.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, trend analyses and performance statistics.
- Coordinate with facilities managers, engineers, supervisors, HSE personnel and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
- Investigate recurring quality issues and recommend process improvements or training needs.
Required profile
- Experience in quality inspection or quality assurance within facilities management or related sectors.
- Familiarity with UAE regulations, client requirements and company quality policies.
- Ability to conduct audits, prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
