QA/QC Engineer (Civil)

About the role

Careers International is hiring a QA/QC Engineer (Civil) in Sharjah for a full-time position in civil construction. The role ensures that projects meet the highest quality standards from start to finish, working closely with the construction team.

Key responsibilities

• Pre-construction: review drawings, specifications and technical documents; take part in site investigations and quantity estimation; support documentation and permitting.
• During construction: monitor site activities for quality compliance; inspect materials and workmanship; report hazards and assist with surveying and documentation.
• Post-construction: support final inspections and punch list completion; help prepare as-built drawings and handover files.
• Stay up to date with UAE codes and QA standards, use construction tools and software efficiently, and promote a collaborative, safety-first culture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in the UAE, preferably with reputable construction firms.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC in civil construction and familiarity with UAE construction codes and HSE practices.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
