QA/QC Engineer – Handover (Residential)

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will lead inspections and snag management for residential handover projects, ensuring that customer expectations are met and that all issues are documented and resolved. This role combines on‑site inspections with the use of digital portals to track progress, resolve disputes, and support the handover process.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct all required inspections, create punch lists, and manage snagging activities.
• Report daily and weekly progress, challenges, and any customer requirements outside project specifications.
• Review and respond to onsite inspection requests within 48 hours.
• Maintain records of recurring and major issues, escalating when necessary.
• Coordinate with contractors, the Projects Team, and external vendors to resolve disputed or out‑of‑scope items.
• Arrange regular progress meetings with main contractors and verify completion of rectified snags.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and continuous updates on handover status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within construction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
