QA/QC Engineer

About the role

GHD is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support its construction projects worldwide. The role ensures that all works meet the required quality standards and that contractors comply with contractual specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect sites before construction activities commence.
• Review contractor quality and testing submissions for contract compliance.
• Participate in contractor QA/QC meetings and provide feedback.
• Assist in reviewing and updating the Quality Management System.
• Conduct training and report on quality performance at construction meetings.
• Coordinate with client QA/QC representatives, close complaints and non‑conformances.
• Develop and execute a QA/QC audit schedule for contractors, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Verify that all works are performed according to approved procedures and maintain up‑to‑date quality records.
• Review monthly QA/QC reports and contractor submittals from a QA perspective.

Required profile

• Experience in construction quality assurance and control.
• Strong understanding of contract compliance and testing requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, clients and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation and audits.
