QAQC Inspector - Landscaping Projects

About the role

Basatin Landscaping is looking for a QAQC Inspector in Abu Dhabi to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance across its landscaping projects. The role supports the operations and engineering teams by verifying that construction activities meet specified regulatory and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and audit ongoing landscaping and infrastructure projects regularly against quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to monitor progress, spot discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Review technical drawings, material specifications and project plans to check compliance with client requirements and regulatory codes.
• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports and share findings with project managers and stakeholders.
• Help coordinate MEP, civil and irrigation system installations so they integrate well with site needs and utilities.
• Give feedback on processes, procedures and technical designs to support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering, landscaping, construction management or a related field; QA/QC certification is highly advantageous.
• Substantial experience as a QA/QC inspector or similar in landscaping, construction or civil engineering.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations and environmental compliance in landscaping and construction.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple inspections and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD and BIM software to read and review technical drawings.
• Familiarity with material specifications, utility infrastructure planning and irrigation system design.
• Technical communication, written and verbal, and practical experience in on-site quality assessments and coordination of technical inspections.
• Experience with irrigation system quality checks and utility infrastructure coordination is an advantage.
