QA/QC Manager – Quality Assurance & Control Lead

About the role

We are looking for a QA/QC Manager to lead the quality assurance and control activities throughout the execution phase of our projects. The role ensures the EDFR Quality Policy and the project’s Quality Management Plan are effectively implemented, supporting the project team in delivering compliant and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain the project’s Quality Management Plan, including KPI definition, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and Non‑Conformity (NC) management.
• Coordinate and supervise internal and contractor quality inspectors, ensuring proper follow‑up of hold points, witness points and audit findings.
• Lead the NC process, verify corrective actions, evaluate their effectiveness and drive root‑cause analyses.
• Conduct internal and contractor audits (ISO 9001 or project‑specific specifications) on‑site or off‑site.
• Facilitate regular meetings with main contractors to review KPIs, NCs, ITP status and lessons learned.
• Prepare quality reports, presentations and training sessions for the project team.
• Support punch‑list closure, final lessons‑learned sessions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing quality assurance and control for construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
• Ability to analyse deviations, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project managers, contractors and auditors.
