QC Engineer – Water Treatment Quality Assurance

About the role

The Quality Control Engineer will lead and coordinate quality assurance activities for water treatment projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements and client specifications. This role works closely with project managers, engineers and technicians to maintain high product quality and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage QC programs, including inspections, tests and audits for all procedures.
• Develop and maintain inspection standards and testing methods for water treatment equipment and processes.
• Conduct regular internal and external audits, support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
• Analyze non‑conformances, prepare corrective action plans and report monthly performance metrics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality issues and support welding and NDT qualification activities.
• Oversee safe handling, storage of hazardous materials and equipment lifting operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Relevant quality‑control certification or internal auditor experience for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with risk management, project management and production oversight.
