QHSES Assurance Specialist (Mechanical Procurement)

About the role

The QHSES Assurance Specialist supports the Mechanical Procurement function by applying QHSES (Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Sustainability) principles to ensure compliance and continuous improvement. Working under moderate guidance, the specialist conducts audits, analyses performance data, and collaborates with internal teams to resolve process issues.

Key responsibilities

• Perform monthly audits according to the audit plan and deliver timely reports.
• Update existing procedures and assist in drafting new standard operating procedures.
• Develop and maintain statistical tools to monitor KPIs, QIs and Cost of Quality (COQ) for fabrication yards and projects.
• Publish monthly and quarterly KPI, QI and COQ reports in both soft and hard copy formats.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams to implement process improvements and verify their sustainability through 30/60/90‑day audits.
• Facilitate root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and the adoption of best practices across the organization.
• Represent the Quality department on special projects and ensure timely review and publication of management system documents.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of QHSES Assurance concepts and audit methodologies.
• Experience analyzing KPI, QI and COQ data to drive decision‑making.
• Strong analytical and logical problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven capability to coach and mentor process owners.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and lead improvement initiatives.
