Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation (Banking)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Automation QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and security of our banking software solutions. You will work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment, partnering with product owners, developers, analysts and manual QA teams to deliver compliant, high‑quality financial applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile and backend banking applications.
• Define and implement scalable test automation frameworks and strategies.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) for continuous testing.
• Execute test suites, analyse results and produce detailed quality reports.
• Identify, document and track defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
• Validate functionality, performance and reliability across multiple banking workflows.
• Ensure testing complies with security, regulatory and industry standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, code reviews and test‑plan reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 + years of hands‑on automation testing experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
