Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

The QA Engineer owns end-to-end quality across backend services, SDKs and frontend applications, driving an automation-first testing culture. The role defines quality standards, metrics, acceptance criteria and test coverage targets, and partners with product, engineering and compliance stakeholders to reduce risk and speed delivery. It is an on-site position in Abu Dhabi requiring at least 3 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites for APIs, SDKs and frontend applications, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates.
• Establish testing methodologies, maintain test infrastructure and data management, validate data transformation and provide traceable audit evidence for compliance reviews.
• In the first 6-12 months: define the quality strategy and acceptance criteria, design and implement automated tests, integrate testing into CI/CD, manage test environments and data, run regression and smoke tests and verify hotfixes.
• Produce test dashboards and audit trails for compliance reviews and defect trends.
• Work with product managers and engineers to ensure requirements are clear and testable.

Required profile

• Data-driven, detail-oriented and proactive, with strong written and verbal communication.
• Collaborative team player able to partner with product, design and engineering teams.
• Able to present test results, risks and mitigations clearly in sprint planning and design reviews.
• Persistent in root-cause analysis and driving sustainable quality improvements.
