Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

About the role

Artelia is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to implement and monitor the Project Quality Management System (QMS) across design and construction phases. The role ensures compliance with contractual requirements, ISO standards and project procedures while managing documentation and technical submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain project quality procedures, plans and processes to meet ISO 9001 and project‑specific standards.
• Coordinate review of drawings, specifications, reports, calculations and BIM models to ensure completeness and compliance before submission.
• Monitor design deliverables and project activities for adherence to contract requirements, local regulations and international standards.
• Plan and conduct internal quality audits, track corrective and preventive actions, and recommend improvements.
• Manage project correspondence, submissions and records through platforms such as PMWeb and Common Data Environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of QA/QC, quality management or document control experience on large‑scale engineering and construction projects.
• Certified Lead Auditor in Quality Management Systems with ISO 9001 knowledge.
• Experience with document management platforms (PMWeb, Aconex or similar).

Required skills

• ISO 9001:2015 standards and Lead Auditor certification.
• Document control using PMWeb, Aconex or other CDE systems.
• BIM information management standards, including ISO 19650.
• Technical review of design‑stage deliverables and engineering submission workflows.
