Quality Control Officer

About the role

The Quality Control Officer ensures that all quality control activities are performed in line with company standards and the regulatory requirements of the Transport Authority. This role supports operations teams by monitoring driver and vehicle compliance and addressing issues on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality checks and inspections of drivers and vehicles, reporting any errors to Operations and Fleet departments.
• Perform regular site inspections to verify operational efficiency and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Assist drivers on site with vehicle breakdowns, customer complaints, and other issues.
• Carry out spot checks, field trips, and unplanned inspections in coordination with Transport Authority inspectors.
• Support special projects (e.g., Expo2020) by meeting additional regulatory requirements.
• Develop relationships with Transport Authority Quality Control Inspectors and facilitate their inspections.
• Prepare and submit quality control reports as per established standards.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• LMV driving licence.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience in quality control or transport operations.
• Good communication skills and ability to adapt quickly to organisational culture.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with DAX.
• Familiarity with RTA portals.
