Quality Document Controller

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Quality Document Controller to manage and coordinate quality‑related documentation across our manufacturing and fabrication operations in Sharjah. The role ensures that all quality records are accurate, traceable, and readily available for internal and external audits.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the Master Document Register and control procedures, ITPs, drawings, specifications, and customer documents.
• Coordinate approvals, controlled distribution, and archival of all quality documents.
• Collect and maintain inspection reports, dimensional data, NDT results, calibration records, and release certificates.
• Register, track, and close Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Compile Manufacturing Data Books / Quality Dossiers and manage transmittals and submission logs.
• Support the Quality Manager and QA Engineer with QMS documentation and revision history.
• Provide evidence for internal and external audits and monitor documentation gaps.
• Interact with internal teams (Production, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, HSE) and external parties (customers, inspection agencies, suppliers, certification bodies).

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in quality document control, QA/QC, or manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS documentation practices.
• Familiarity with revision control, document management processes, and quality records handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
