Quality Engineer – MEP Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to implement quality assurance and control processes on Innovo MEP projects, ensuring that all installations meet project specifications, relevant codes, and the defined quality plan.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the project quality plan and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
• Conduct quality inspections at key construction milestones and document findings.
• Raise, track and close non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and verify corrective actions.
• Analyse recurring NCR trends and propose preventive measures to the Quality Manager.
• Maintain quality records, inspection checklists, test certificates and compile close‑out documentation for handover.
• Support quality‑awareness training for site personnel and subcontractors, including toolbox talks.
• Assist internal and client/consultant quality audits by preparing evidence and following up on audit findings.
• Introduce modern tools and processes to improve efficiency, transparency and cost‑effectiveness without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4‑6 years of quality engineering experience in MEP construction.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, project quality plans, ITPs and MEP quality standards.
• Experience with MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, method statements, quality checklists and handover dossiers.
• Good understanding of MEP systems, construction sequencing, testing requirements and consultant inspection processes.
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor / Lead Auditor certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication, documentation, analytical and follow‑up skills.
