Quality Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to carry out hold‑point and routine inspections on MEP installations for the Innovo project. The role ensures that all work complies with approved drawings, specifications and test plans, and that any non‑conformities are documented and resolved.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hold‑point and routine quality inspections on mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations.
• Record inspection results, raise observations for non‑compliant work and complete inspection checklists.
• Photograph and log evidence to support quality records and non‑conformance reports.
• Verify corrective actions, re‑inspect rectified work and confirm compliance before sign‑off.
• Check installations against approved drawings, specifications, manufacturer guidelines and project standards.
• Submit daily inspection reports and maintain trackers showing status of hold points.
• Introduce modern tools and processes to improve inspection efficiency and transparency.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of quality inspection experience on MEP construction projects.
• Experience with hold‑point inspections, inspection and test plans and non‑conformance reporting.
• Knowledge of MEP installation standards, ISO 9001 quality management principles and manufacturer installation requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate reporting.

Required skills

• Quality inspection certification (e.g., CSWIP, NDT) – desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital inspection/reporting tools.
• Ability to maintain inspection records, trackers and photographic evidence logs.
• Clear written and verbal communication for reporting observations.
