Quality Officer – Risk Management & Patient Safety Improvement

About the role

The Quality Officer will support the implementation and coordination of quality management and improvement processes, focusing on patient safety and risk management. Working under the guidance of the Manager, the role ensures effective data and performance management to enhance patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development, implementation, and evaluation of the facility's quality improvement program.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure quality and safety priorities are implemented.
• Facilitate committees and taskforces related to quality improvement and ensure recommendations are carried out.
• Maintain quality management documents, case files, and correspondence securely.
• Develop project timelines, monitor action plans, and ensure timely completion.
• Liaise with accreditation bodies for program implementation.

Required profile

• 2-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large healthcare facility.
• Bachelor's degree in quality, performance management, clinical practice or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with quality improvement methodologies and concepts.
• Ability to collect, validate, and analyze data to improve care delivery efficiency.
