Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in the Outpatient Department, educating patients and supporting families while collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and monitor for abnormalities.
• Create, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in partnership with the interprofessional team.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and provide wound care management.
• Assist in both invasive and non‑invasive medical procedures and ensure safe patient admission, transfer, and discharge.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic communication is desirable.
• Willingness to work across departments as needed.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation.
• Medication administration and monitoring for side effects.
• IV therapy and blood product handling.
• Wound care management.
