Radiographer – MRI (Madinat Zayed Hospital)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Radiographer to perform MRI examinations at Madinat Zayed Hospital. The role involves independently conducting MRI procedures or under senior supervision, ensuring high‑quality diagnostic images and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all MRI procedures in line with department policies and protocols.
• Maintain inventory of materials and report shortages promptly.
• Prepare patients, conduct cannulations and administer IV contrast agents under supervision.
• Evaluate MR images for quality, appropriateness and completeness, and forward them to radiologists.
• Optimize scan protocols by recognizing anatomy and pathology in cross‑sectional imaging.
• Operate advanced radiology software such as bolus tracking, image reconstruction, quantification and dynamic imaging.
• Ensure safe use of radiology equipment, report incidents, and maintain a clean working environment.
• Support quality improvement, safety, infection‑control and audit processes.

Required profile

• Ability to perform MRI examinations independently or under senior supervision.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology for image acquisition.
• Capability to prepare patients and administer IV contrast agents under supervision.
• Commitment to safety, quality control, infection‑control and patient confidentiality.
• Willingness to document procedures and support clinical audit activities.
