Receptionist - Charter School (Immediate Start)

About the role

Aldar Education is recruiting a receptionist for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School (UAEN), a large charter school following the US curriculum with over 1500 students from KG1 to Grade 5. The school aims to be collaborative and student-centred, and the successful candidate will align with its core values of respect, collaboration, passion, integrity and excellence. The position starts immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service to visitors and staff, representing the school professionally
• Greet visitors and provide accurate information about the school, including curriculum, education level and tuition fees
• Guide parents through student registration and admission during the initial enquiry stage
• Answer, screen and forward calls politely, refer enquiries using the referral system and assist the admissions team with inbound and outbound calls
• Log admissions enquiries into the MIS database
• Provide clerical support such as updating attendance registers, photocopying, filing, faxing and completing forms
• Handle word processing and IT tasks such as databases, Excel and internet research, and produce lists and data as required
• Sort and distribute mail, arrange visitor transport when needed and keep the reception area tidy
• Attend meetings as required and perform other reasonable duties asked by management

Required profile

• High School Certificate/Diploma or Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-focused role in the region
• Experience in the education field is preferred
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic-speaking ability
• Strong interpersonal skills for daily contact with parents in a diverse, multicultural environment
