Receptionist - Golf Club

About the role

Viya, part of wasl Hospitality & Leisure, is looking for a receptionist for its golf club in Dubai. The role ensures that members and guests receive prompt and cordial attention so that efficiency and satisfaction are maximised in line with the club's standards, policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and guests, giving accurate information about facilities, dress code, policies, age restrictions for children and points of interest.
• Know members' names and stay up to date with daily activities, functions, services and tournaments.
• Take messages for management and handle complaints politely, informing the Head of Sport & Leisure or the duty manager.
• Maintain order and cleanliness in the reception and court areas and report maintenance needs.
• Accept payments from members, prepare daily sales reports and help other clubs when needed.
• Keep track of sales, stock and rental equipment, and record lost and found items.
• Follow up on borrowed items and report problems to the manager.
• Participate in extra activities such as committees and projects, and be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider.
• Apply the 4 Service Steps to serve internal and external customers, and follow information security policies and attend awareness sessions.
