Recreation & Lifestyle Experience Lead

About the role

A client of Black Pearl Consult is looking for an experienced, service-oriented Recreation & Lifestyle Experience Lead to run the day-to-day operations of premium recreation, leisure and lifestyle facilities in Abu Dhabi. The role suits a hospitality professional with a background in luxury hotels, private or members' clubs, high-end resorts or exclusive lifestyle destinations. It calls for strong operational oversight, excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence to engage discreetly with VIP, VVIP and high-net-worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of recreation, leisure, lifestyle, lounge and member facilities, keeping service standards high.
• Create personalized, memorable experiences for guests, members and visitors, with a focus on VIP and VVIP service.
• Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, requests and concerns.
• Maintain the highest standards of facility presentation, cleanliness, safety and operational readiness.
• Coordinate recreational activities, events and lifestyle programmes that boost guest engagement.
• Build strong relationships with members, residents, guests and key stakeholders.
• Lead, motivate and coordinate front-line teams, hold regular briefings and ensure adherence to service standards, policies and procedures.
• Monitor guest feedback and drive service improvements, and work with internal departments and external providers on daily operations and special events.
• Handle sensitive situations, complaints and service recovery professionally, and support management with guest experience strategies and operational improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, private or members' clubs, high-end resorts or premium lifestyle destinations.
• Proven experience managing recreation, leisure, lifestyle, lounge or club facilities.
• UAE or GCC luxury hospitality experience is preferable, along with exposure to VIP, VVIP or high-net-worth clientele.
• Strong leadership, organizational and operational management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Exceptional customer service, guest relations and complaint-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality management systems is advantageous.
