Recruiter – Control Functions

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruiter – Control Functions to join our Talent Acquisition team in the banking sector. You will own the end‑to‑end hiring process for governance, risk, compliance and regulatory positions, ensuring the bank attracts high‑calibre professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for Control Function roles, from requisition to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to define workforce needs and recruitment strategies.
• Source qualified candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, talent mapping and direct outreach.
• Conduct competency‑based interviews to assess technical expertise, regulatory knowledge and cultural fit.
• Coordinate interview schedules and maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers.
• Build and sustain a pipeline of Control Function professionals for current and future hiring.
• Prepare offer recommendations and support salary negotiations in collaboration with HR.
• Track recruitment metrics (time‑to‑fill, quality of hire, sourcing effectiveness) and ensure compliance with internal policies and UAE labour regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 3–6 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven track record recruiting for Control Function roles in a regulated environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to source niche talent.
• Understanding of competency‑based interviewing and recruitment best practices.
