Regional Country Manager – UAE & GCC

About the role

We are looking for a high‑caliber Regional Country Manager to lead our UAE and GCC markets. You will own the full P&L, shape regional strategy, and drive user acquisition, transaction volume, and operational efficiency across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow revenue, transaction volume and active user metrics for UAE and GCC.
• Design and execute localized growth campaigns, product positioning and user experiences for each GCC market.
• Identify, negotiate and close strategic partnerships with banks, payment gateways and distribution networks.
• Serve as the company’s local face with regulators (DFSA, ADGM, Central Banks) ensuring compliance.
• Optimize KYC/AML processes and build responsive, localized customer support.
• Ensure seamless payment rails, currency localization and language flows.
• Produce executive‑level market, competitor and regulatory reports for senior leadership.
• Collaborate with global Growth, Frontend and Support teams to launch growth loops and product features tailored to the GCC.

Required profile

• 6+ years in hyper‑growth tech environments (FinTech, Web3, Marketplace or SaaS) with 2–3 years in regional leadership or general‑management roles in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven track record of scaling transaction volume or user base from the ground up in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC financial regulations, electronic KYC standards and data‑privacy laws.
• Established network of regional partners, financial institutions or corporate stakeholders.
• Highly analytical, data‑driven and fluent in English (Arabic fluency a plus).
