Regional Demand Planner – GCC (FMCG)

About the role

The Regional Demand Planner – GCC will own the end‑to‑end demand forecasting process for Nabati Food across Gulf Cooperation Council markets. Working closely with commercial leaders, distributors, marketing, supply chain and finance, you will ensure forecasts are accurate, consensus‑driven and aligned with the company’s S&OP rhythm.

Key responsibilities

• Develop rolling demand forecasts at SKU and market level for all GCC countries.
• Maintain and update demand data in the Pipeline Tool, incorporating distributor inputs, promotions, seasonality, pricing actions and product lifecycle changes.
• Lead monthly demand review meetings with distributors, validating assumptions and aligning inputs with commercial plans.
• Drive the demand planning pillar of the monthly S&OP/IBP cycle, producing a consolidated regional demand plan and scenario analyses.
• Collaborate with supply planning and logistics to flag stock shortages, excess inventory or obsolescence risks.
• Track and report KPIs such as forecast accuracy, bias, service levels and inventory health, delivering insights to regional management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of demand planning or forecasting experience in the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record working with distributors and managing regional S&OP processes.
• Experience across multiple GCC markets is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with demand planning tools, preferably the Pipeline Tool.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes.
• Ability to analyse and integrate distributor forecasts, promotional calendars and market dynamics.
