Regional Manager – Fleet Strategy & Planning (MEA‑TR)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a senior leader to own fleet strategy, planning and program execution for its Middle East, Africa and Turkey (MEATR) last‑mile delivery network. In this role you will shape the end‑to‑end fleet lifecycle—from long‑term demand forecasting and vehicle procurement to operational excellence and partner enablement—supporting one of the fastest‑growing regions in Amazon’s logistics portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable fleet demand models to forecast van and vehicle requirements across the MEATR region.
• Create multi‑horizon demand plans (strategic +3 years, tactical 12‑18 months, operational <12 months) for diverse vehicle specifications, including diesel, electric and specialized configurations.
• Consolidate inputs from cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure fleet plans reflect the latest business assumptions and strategies.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with transportation vendors and Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) to secure capacity and drive long‑term value.
• Leverage data‑driven insights to improve operational performance, cost efficiency and partner experience.
• Travel up to 30 % across the region to build relationships, conduct assessments and lead change‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fleet strategy, demand planning or logistics operations within a high‑growth environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior leadership and drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable presenting complex analyses to executives.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast‑moving markets and design scalable solutions for emerging regions.
