Regional Product Marketing Manager - Physical Access Control Readers

About the role

HID Global, a high-tech software company and market leader in physical access control readers, is looking for a Regional Product Marketing Manager for its Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) readers in Dubai. The role drives the definition, realization and evolution of the PACS reader portfolio, covering strategy, roadmaps, market requirements, pricing, positioning and launches. Arabic and English proficiency are mandatory.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the product strategy for HID's PACS readers and own the high-level product roadmap
• Act as the voice of the customer (partners and end users) to product management and cloud services
• Analyze end-user and channel surveys, competitor and industry analysis and feed them into the product roadmap
• Educate the organization on reader products and act as the centre of competency for market knowledge, sizing and customer profiles
• Define prospect, channel and end-user decision criteria and position readers against competitors
• Develop and implement pricing strategy and channel strategies, including pricing and discount approaches
• Prepare product data for promotion and run new product launch programs with ready-made assets
• Monitor long-term market direction and report regularly on segment and geographical performance (revenue, product mix, margins)
• Lead key relationships in the physical access control market and advise on standards, policies and technology adoption

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing or another relevant discipline; equivalent education plus experience may be considered
• Minimum 5+ years in product marketing or product management roles
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic
• Proven track record of launching products and services globally
• Legal eligibility to work in the hiring country; visa sponsorship may be available on a case-by-case basis

Required skills

• Strong expertise in physical security and understanding of access control systems
• Experience working in a product development team using SAFe for Lean Enterprises
• Ability to collaborate across functions, communicate with customers and partners across the region, and adapt to change and ambiguity
