Regional Technical Services and Maintenance Manager

About the role

An experienced Regional Technical Services and Maintenance Manager is sought to oversee maintenance operations, technical services and infrastructure management across multiple sites. The role ensures operational reliability, leads technical teams, supervises infrastructure improvement projects and optimizes maintenance strategies, resources and budgets in line with organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee technical services, maintenance operations and infrastructure management across multiple sites.
• Develop and implement preventive, corrective and structural maintenance strategies to ensure asset reliability.
• Provide technical guidance to site management and maintenance teams on infrastructure, equipment and facilities.
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, utilities, machinery, vehicles and other operational assets.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise construction, renovation and infrastructure improvement projects within specifications, budgets and timelines.
• Establish and monitor maintenance procedures, standards and performance indicators.
• Lead, develop and evaluate technical teams and manage departmental budgets, procurement plans and expenditures.
• Oversee contractors, suppliers and external service providers for quality, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
• Conduct technical assessments, inspections and risk evaluations, and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and organizational standards.
• Prepare technical reports, monitor performance and advise senior management.

Required profile

• Technical degree, diploma or professional qualification in engineering, maintenance management, facilities management or a related field.
• More than 15 years of experience in technical services, maintenance, infrastructure or facilities management.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams and maintenance operations across multiple sites.
• Fluency in English and French; proficiency in Arabic or Russian preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of building systems, utilities, mechanical and electrical equipment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance planning, asset management and operational improvement.
• Budgeting, procurement, contractor management and cost optimization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.
• Preferred: familiarity with SCADA, BMS or CMMS, and knowledge of tender preparation, contractor evaluation and project commissioning.
