Registered Nurse – Outpatient Department (OPD)

About the role

The Registered Nurse – OPD will provide comprehensive nursing care to out‑patient department patients at Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park, ensuring the health, wellbeing and safety of each patient while assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and identify patients' needs, develop and monitor medical plans and treatment.
• Create and evaluate patient care plans with the interprofessional team, involving the patient and family.
• Record vital signs, recognize and promptly escalate any abnormalities.
• Administer medications, IV fluids or blood products and monitor for reactions.
• Provide wound‑care management and assist in invasive or non‑invasive medical procedures.
• Facilitate safe admission, transfer and discharge processes.
• Perform essential life‑support interventions such as BLS, PALS, ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation as required.

Required profile

• Valid license to work as a registered nurse in the UAE and ongoing professional re‑licensure.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willingness to work across departments when needed.
• Clear and effective communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Desirable: ability to work within an inter‑professional team, strong organizational skills for electronic medical record documentation, and proficiency in Arabic.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation proficiency.
