Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare organization in Dubai, providing comprehensive orthopedic care for infants, children, and adolescents.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including congenital, developmental, traumatic, infectious, and neuromuscular disorders.
• Perform pediatric orthopedic surgical procedures and deliver comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using both surgical and non‑surgical approaches.
• Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, emergency assessments, and operating theatre procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, and anesthesiologists.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with DHA regulations and participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) and completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics.
• Board certification or specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) with a valid DHA license.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialization experience in Pediatric Orthopedics.
• Preferred: Turkish Board Certification or specialist training from Turkey and Turkish language proficiency.
