Registered Nurse – Primary Care & Aviation Services

About the role

The company is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver primary care, occupational health, and aviation‑related medical services to its employees in Sharjah, UAE. The role involves direct patient care, health screening, and emergency response within a medical centre environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor patients' conditions, assess needs, and provide appropriate care and advice.
• Take vital signs, collect samples, and prepare instruments for examinations.
• Prepare patients for GP consultations and assist in regulatory and screening medicals.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and perform nursing procedures such as medication administration, dressing changes, blood pressure measurement, finger‑stick glucose testing, ECG, spirometry, and ear lavage.
• Provide immediate medical care in emergencies and collaborate with physicians on individualized care plans.
• Record test results accurately in the medical information system and alert doctors to any irregularities.
• Participate in clinical audits and apply infection‑control practices, including equipment decontamination and surface sanitising.

Required profile

• Valid Nursing Degree and MOH licence.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in primary care or similar settings.
• Ability to work 24‑hour shift patterns and rosters, both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (Arabic a plus) with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good health, fitness, and knowledge of health‑safety and sanitation guidelines.

Required skills

• Operation of diagnostic machines (ECG, spirometry, etc.).
• Medication administration (oral, intramuscular, intravenous).
• Blood pressure measurement and finger‑stick glucose testing.
• Dressing changes and ear lavage procedures.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and medical database systems.
